Samal Island · Trading since 2019

Grown by our neighbours. Sorted, dried and sold by us.

IB Golden buys cacao and coffee straight from farms on Samal Island and around Davao del Norte, then sorts, dries and packs it for chocolate makers, roasters, resellers and home cooks. One trader, one island, prices the farmer agrees to.

How a bag reaches you

We buy small lots, keep them separate, and tell you where each one came from

Most of our farmers harvest under a hectare at a time. We collect those lots by barangay instead of mixing them, so a buyer who liked last month’s Kaputian cacao can order the same again. Every sack leaves with a tag showing the barangay, the harvest week and the moisture reading.

Moisture checked at pickup and again before packing
Hand sorted for broken, flat and mouldy beans
Samples couriered before any bulk order is confirmed
Working with us

Three steps from message to delivery

01

Tell us the spec

Bean, volume, moisture and where it needs to land. A message on Viber is enough to start.

02

Sample and quote

We send beans and a written price with the lot details. Cut test photos come with cacao quotes.

03

Pack and ship

Sacks are packed against your order, weighed again, and moved by barge, courier or freight forwarder.

Tablea season

Pure tablea, pressed in rounds, no sugar added

Our tablea is roasted and ground from the same cacao we sell as beans. Cafes in Davao City use it for sikwate and champorado. Boxes of 20 rounds ship weekly, and we can print your own label on the sleeve for orders above 200 boxes.
